So after my knee healed sufficiently, I went out to put my degree to work and get a real job. Haha, I interviewed at a number of places, some of them being car dealerships, and in the process had the multi-multi-multi millionair cowboy Tex Earnhardt take me to lunch and try to convince me to work for him. I said yes and lasted a month and a half. I couldn't stand a lot of things there so I left.
It wasn't much later that I was offered a great opportunity with My Profit Keeper to sell an accounting software to large franchises. I'm now Director of Sales and Training there and in 9 months time I've helped the company go from 3 employees and 20 clients to 11 employees and 300 clients. Things are keeping me busy. Below is a few photos of things I did on the side during the last part of 2004 to the beginning of 2005.
Here's me and Rybo, Rybot, Coughbot, Dr. Death, Ryan Seastrand American Model, Wizager in SoCal. I've got a lot of love for Mr. Coughbottica.
While on my way to General Conference in April of 2005, I met up with my friend Mary Ellen. We were turned a corner looking for a parking space and Mary's FRONT TIRE CAME OFF two blocks from conference! SO, yeah, we missed the session as we had to get a tow truck and stuff. Its amazing how many people stopped to offer help though...
Haha, I helped secure a towtruck and get the car out of the middle of downtown SLC to a car shop. Mary's trying to explain what happened to a friend on the phone...
I did quite a bit of curbocycling even while I had only one good knee in 2004. This is an R1 I bought super cheap, fixed up, rode hard, and made some dough on.
